Minecraft: China Edition[a] is a localized edition of Java and Bedrock editions for China, developed by Mojang Studios, Xbox Game Studios and NetEase. China Edition has 700 million players as of September 2023.[3]
China Editon mainly includes the mobile game edition[b] and end-game edition[c] [sic], and provides Bedrock Edition and Java Edition games. China Edition is a general term for the mobile game and end-game launcher containing Minecraft games that are developed by NetEase, and the launcher has functions such as multiplayer games and component management.
Mobile game Edition
Note:zh wiki has detailed content at 中国版#手游版
The Mobile game Edition mainly runs on mobile platforms, and offers a specific edition of the Bedrock Edition.
To play the game, first enter the launcher, and the launcher skips the main menu of the Bedrock Edition to enter the game. In addition to launching the game, the Mobile game Edition also includes functions such as group social, community forum, homeland, and resource center.
The launcher has a built-in browser-related program that can directly turn to linked pages such as announcements and news, and some pages detect the environment to make the content only visible within the game. The launcher also has a network environment detection feature similar to Bedrock Edition, which prevents players from logging in when using Network Agent at the system level. The launcher has a dark mode that adapts to the night theme and can switch with the system time.
End-game Edition
Note:zh wiki has detailed content at 中国版#端游版
